I thought that winning the FA Cup and not getting into the Champions League would be the final act of him, I thought he should step down.

soccerfan, exactly right. I used to love the duels in the Premier League and Champions League between the Top English Clubs; going through a reform phase; but next season the Top 7 clubs are all in europe!
