Which planet rules (disposits) your Venus? Do you tend to be attracted to people whose suns are conjunct your Venus dispositor? Does that planet play a special role in your relationships? --- I have Venus in Sagittarius. Jupiter rules Sagittarius....my Jupiter is @ 16° Aries. There are not many sections of the zodiac where the men have consistently caught my attention, but I'm usually attracted to second decan Aries men. My first crush that I recall was on Marlon Brando. My husband has Venus in Virgo conjunct its dispositor, domicile Virgo Mercury. His Mercury is sesquisquare (135°) to my Jupiter. I think it's important that our Venus dispositors aspect each other. Some of my previous love interests /infatuations /preoccupations: 1. Venus in Libra (domicile) opposing my Jupiter 2. Pluto in Libra (dispositing Scorpio Venus) opposing my Jupiter 3. Sun in Leo (dispositing Leo Venus)...no aspect to my Jupiter, not enough connection 4. Saturn in Aquarius (dispositing Cap Venus) septile to my Jupiter 2. Venus in Leo, trine my Jupiter, disposited by Virgo sun....no aspect to my Jupiter *Please don't quote  |

My Venus is in Aries, so Aries -> Mars, My Mars is at 23 degrees in Leo. I seem to have more relations with men than women with Leo. I think my My Mother, Father, Brother, Grandma, Uncle (mother's side) and Auntie (father's side) all have one of their personal planets in Leo aspect my Mars. My Brother's Mars conjunct my Mars. Parent's Moon signs. 4 of my closest friends have Leo placement; 3 with Leo Mars, 1 with Leo Moon, 1 with Leo Sun. I have been friends with them for many many years. A few women I have dated have had Leo placements, but I am not sure they were aspecting my Leo Mars. (one had Leo Mars too, but not conjunct mine). Wow, looking back retrospectively, that is alot of Leo!!  Venus in Aries (6th) trine Mars in 10th (1 app) Sun in Taurus (7th) square Mars in 10th (4 app) Mars square Pluto in Scorpio in 1st (6 app) Those are the closest 3 planets |

That is a LOT of Leo! Maybe even more than I have in my life...how is that possible?? I have a lot of Aries in my family. My dad's 14 Aries IC conjunct: - my mom's Jupiter - my Jupiter - my brother's sun-Mercury - another brother's Mercury - my sister's Saturn I was thinking more of romantic connections or interests, though. Oh yes..! Definitely. Umm. Ruler of Venus is Mercury. It's sextile Venus/Jupiter, conjunct Mars in my chart. So anything aspecting those is *felt* quite a lot. It's also the DSC ruler, so..  sven555 , That is a lot of Leo! IMO, Mars in the same sign is in itself quite a big deal. Unless the natal aspects to it are too wildly different, they'd have a lot of common ground and a feeling of "being on the same team". P.S. The "final" dispositor is Pluto, and it was conjunct my ex's stellium (Sun/Mars/Pluto). P.P.S. sven555, Can I stay "Devil's Advocate" forever? Me likey. |

Saturn disposits my Venus and sits on 17 Cancer in my 8th house. No, I don`t feel particularly attracted to Cancers (quite the opposite actually, they really tend to annoy me, though the women even more than the men).
I`d say I am more attracted to Saturnian people (at least if they also have some Jupiterian vibe).
My Saturn seems to figure somehwat in the synastry or composite nevertheless especially in relation to Venus. I am just not drawn to the sign of my own Saturn.

Strangely, Leo hasn't featured too much; (could be good or bad!) but the Sun has. With all woman I have been with it seems their Sun has aspected my Sun in some way; I'll have to dig up some charts |

Well, my Venus is in Virgo. Mercury rules it. My Mercury's in Cancer. I've never been attracted to Cancer suns, not even those whose sun conjuncts my Mercury.
The first guy I liked had his Venus square my Mercury exact and his Saturn sextile my Mercury.
The second guy I liked: Mercury very very loosely conjunct mine. Mars sextile my Mercury. His Venus was in Gemini, therefore also ruled by Mercury.
So I'm not sure.
