Hi. So my intent is: all of us here in the forum (and particularly in Sports Astrology sub-forum) are trying to predict the result of some matches (football/soccer, basket, etc.) using Astrological charts. We create them, analyze them and try to attributte correct teams to their key-points. We get lucky sometimes but also fail in several occasions. Why? Generally because the number of events is too big, or because we are misleaded my the bloody change of kits' colours, or simply because we are not capable of see what, sometimes, is cleary shown in the charts. Although there are some situations when we have more "certains" than others, as is the case of Moon's applaying aspects to POF. In this case, predictions are usually easier.
So, my point is: let's chase those happenings. Let's see where and when Moon plays in our favour: when and where She sexiles, trines, conjucts, opposes and squares POF.
For such, I would like to invite you to express and participate with ways of predict such occourences, like websites, computer programs, books, etc.
How can it be done?

no problem with my software  i can calculate aspects for 100s of games in minutes and filter the ones with moon-pof aspects only thing that would need to be done is check kit-colours retrospectively(and maybe re-check if charts are correct) |

Hi Gecko. Great! If we don't want to check kit colours, there's also another "trick": choose games where 1 and 2 are above 2.01, so you always be right.
Could you share a list of events within those parameters?

I have designed some software also to help predict football matches using scoring system, but it does require manual decision making on who is which ASC/DSC.
But I can share some pointers about each match.
In a 90 minute football match; the Moon moves about 0"45 to 1"30 degrees forward during the match. The POF moves from 26 up to 40 degrees across the duration of a match.
The rulers move 1-2 houses per match, sometimes no houses. Unless Capricorn or Cancer rule ASC, the rulers don't change too often.
ASC/DSC moves about 20-35 degrees in a match.

hey sven , the software system should be similar to mine , not?
i wonder if u have a way to predict if theres gonna be score at aspect (sign change , asp-with-pof) , or if it just goes by without goal

The point is precisely to chase those events whom fit into our pre-conditions. So, do you have any suggestions for today, tomorrow, etc? I'd tried to create a java programme a few months ago, but it was useless.  Cheers. |

gecko235, i guess there will be similarities; because we analyse the rulers of the chart, but I like to progress the chart and see what it looks like a full time. I can't remember if yours does that. But yours analyses more stats
