hey Sven can you help shed light on these two statements from Bevan:
1. If the lord of the hour shares the same powers as the sign on the ascendant , i.e. hr MO & Asc SC, hr ME & Asc TA, hr JU & Asc AQ,
2.f the lord of the hour shares the same powers as the ruler of the ascendent , ie. hr SU & Asc SC-MA, hr MO & Asc LI-VE, hr ME & Asc CP-SA,
how do I know when they have the same powers?

ranks4 , The examples are provided along with the statements. So: - When the lord of the hour is Moon, and the Ascendant of the chart is in Scorpio; they share the same power.
- When the lord of the hour is Mercury, and the Ascendant of the chart is in Taurus; they share the same power.
- When the lord of the hour is Jupiter, and the Ascendant of the chart is in Aquarius; they share the same power.
You only need to compare the lord of the hour with the sign on the ascendant.
