"He pushes us to dispose of the things that need changing and at last discover better approaches to work." I think I'm feeling this already. Last night, had some thoughts about patterns that need changing. Internal roadblocks that need to be gotten over, etc. Discipline, process improvements, all that jazz. Feels like a "happily put your nose to the grindstone" sort of energy.

I get a clear sense of "What do I want to do, now that effort is starting to feel more satisfying, more centered, more RIGHT?" There's a faint but hopeful sense that I'll be on my own side for once. Finally.

Excellent article sven555 . My favorite that I've seen so far. I'll have to return to it and ponder it more. "With Saturn entering the indication of Capricorn on December nineteenth, 2017, his vitality is returning home." Yes, I believe that! While this transit presented some extremely sobering experiences the first time around, it was also a time of achievement, standing out, really gathering all my strength and proving what I was capable of. Of course, the mountain would just grow taller every time I reached the top, but that's another story...

pufferfishy, now is the time to put hammer and tong together to build an ever-lasting tower !! Discipline can be mixed with efficiency to ensure that all the mundane tasks are completed, saving time for fun and enjoyment. StarVega, saturn is the master of time, so a well-timed motion of energy will be very effective. Save your bullets. When Neptune finally gets it's ass in gear and moves direct, the combination with Neptune in Pisces and Jupiter in Scorpio will prove to be a key determinant in progressing further than before. If you think about it. 2 planets in domicile together is likely to give you the chance to do something great.

sven555 I like how you look ahead. Transiting Saturn conjunct my sun and transiting Neptune conjunct my moon at the same time. I can't help bringing it all back to "So, what's in this for me?" While I've reckoned with the cold fact that life is what we make of it, my chart sucks, too many squares, and a little boost from the solar system would sure be nice. An unusual and serendipitous turn of events? Am I really asking for too much with that? We shall see....

I'm looking forward to this but sometimes I get seriously concerned because like I said, the first time I went through this, it was emotionally grueling. It almost seems like the Universe said to me, "Well now that we've fortified you with Saturn, you're tough enough to endure all this crap you were scheduled to deal with...bad karma from past lives and so on. But hey, don't complain, at least you won the regional spelling bee! And you're captain of this club and making great friends, even with guys, so hushhhh....we're just going to subtract a lot of goodness from your life while you're preoccupied and anesthetized with your success. Keep your eyes on the prize. #Capricorn." I don't know if that's intrinsically how Cap Saturn is for everyone, a see-saw of personal accomplishment and personal misery, but that's basically what I'm expecting. Late at night, I seriously dread the Saturn-Pluto conjunction and imagine dark catastrophes that break me down completely. When the sun comes out again, I regain my sense of humor and my footing. I feel like attitude is everything.

My opinion is somewhat naive since I haven't experienced Saturn in cap before; but I like to think of it as a good opportunity to push forward with projects and achievements. Perhaps that helps with the fact you meant about personal glory/misery. Uranus in Taurus is likely to throw a few off colour winds, with this heavy mix of earth general planets. Despite what you say StarVega, I think that every turn of the cycle gives you another chance for you to improve yourself or do something different. If you don't believe in you, I certainly do.

pufferfishy, you can do this! In the next few years, is there a chance of you progressing to a better position in your life?

Thanks, sven555 ! Good question, I hadn't thought of that at all. I suppose there is? Slightly more so than previous years but with higher risks. That's the way the cookie crumbles, eh? No pain, no gain. Reward proportional to the risk. You can have as much as you're willing to lose, as much as you're willing to put yourself on the line and *werk werk werk werk werk*. Thanks, Rihanna. I'm pretty Saturnian myself, so not much by way of grand expectations. Just a gradual "growing into" one's own skin, ya know? I suppose this transit will help with some of that. Bringing focus to the tangible, physical, real part of *living* that makes a life. If I stay on track, it'll help me through the Saturn return - which will happen when that lovely Saturn-Pluto conjunction is in full swing. So, these three years are leading up to it. What about you, what do these years have in store? P.S. Uranus in Taurus seems like a very important time! In which year will it be close to a conjunction with your Sun?

Late at night, I seriously dread the Saturn-Pluto conjunction and imagine dark catastrophes that break me down completely. When the sun comes out again, I regain my sense of humor and my footing. I feel like attitude is everything. Wow, when you say that it makes me realize what a glum outlook I have. I never thought of it as glum, really. Just take-things-as-they-come. What you're describing has been the "high points" of my life - that's what I draw comfort from. When everything else is falling apart, what I've built for myself, or what I *could*, the tangible stuff - that's what keeps my head above water, so to speak. I've always been of the opinion that as long as I have that instinct, I can handle anything else. Pretty much *expect* everything else to be sh*tty, ya know? *Grim Saturn face* Of course, life has the last laugh - and you can't count on anything, not even yourself. I've learned that these last couple of years. *But* it still remains my major source of comfort. That's what I look to have. That's what I look to fix. I feel bad for you, to have gone through it with such things happening - being pulled in opposite directions. Having to put on a brave face, with personal issues going on in the background. That sucketh. Hope this time around is better. As they say, Saturn rewards you if you learned the lesson the first time around! Like one of those tests that's graded on a curve. Your questions keep getting harder if you get the answers right. You start thinking you're gonna fail coz you did so terribly on it. But the test getting harder means only one thing - that you're doing it right. Sweet fruits of labour. That's what I hope you get.

Yeah, I guess the balance is important. I won't suggest that Saturn in Capricorn is related to 'risk-taking', it seems too conservative for that. Perhaps it's a sign of you getting what you deserve for the effort you put in. Therefore, if you work bloody hard in a lower position, Saturn will suggest pushing further which looks like a risk; but actually you deserve it. This Saturn transit will conjunct some of your planets right besides your Saturn right? Lessons are defined through oppositions, action is defined through squares, conjunctions are new cycles. Perhaps something of yours will come/go. Well I haven't looked too far ahead, but with Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto in feminine signs; they will all aspect my Sun, Moon, Saturn, Neptune configuration with Venus on the side. Uranus in Taurus will conjunct my DSC soon, before my Sun in a few years. This Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn powercell will trine my Sun and Moon in my 3rd house; square my Venus and sextile my Saturn, conjunct Neptune. Jupiter in Scorpio is in my 1st house now, and will oppose my Sun next year. Neptune in Pisces will join in soon. I hope something great will come from this Saturn/Pluto conjunct, it would be good to know when.

"Therefore, if you work bloody hard in a lower position, Saturn will suggest pushing further which looks like a risk;" - right, that's what I meant. It can feel safer to simply accept your situation and stop trying. Crawling under a rock is risk-free. And yeah, it'll touch some other placements for sure. "Uranus in Taurus will conjunct my DSC soon, before my Sun in a few years. This Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn powercell will trine my Sun and Moon in my 3rd house; square my Venus and sextile my Saturn, conjunct Neptune. That conjunction giving the grand earth trine a mega-boost. Watch out, 2020. Uranus in Aries was conjunct my friend's Sun earlier this year and it played out quite literally. She's moving overseas, to another country. Completely unplanned! Took a bit of getting used to, but she now sees it's a great move for her. Uranus might shake things up a bit for ya, but in a *good* way. And I know you can take it, regardless.

Saturn is going to go into Capricorn tomorrow morning, where I live.
Casting for my location the ingress chart has ASC on 24 Scorpio (An X-Ray Photograph), DESC on 24 Taurus (a vast public park)
MC on 16 Virgo (A Volcanic Eruption) and IC on 16 Pisces( An Easter Parade)
IC falls onto the same degree as my natal Juno.
chartruler is Pluto on 18 Capricorn conjunct Moon, ruler of intercepted 8th house, on 19 Capricorn in that chart
and the tightest aspects are:
Moon conjunct Pluto 0°57 Venus trine Uranus 0°58 Jupiter square Node 0°53
and tightest midpoints are:
Pluto conjunct Neptune/ASC 0°02 ASC conjunct Mercury/Mars 0°05 Neptune square Sun/ASC 0°08 (or: Neptune conjunct Sun/DESC) Uranus square Chiron/ASC 0°08 (or: Uranus conjunct Chiron/DESC) Node opposite Moon/Neptune 0°13 Node square Mars/ASC 0°15# (SN conjunct Mars/DESC) Moon conjunct Jupiter/Chiron 0°18
MC square Moon/jupiter 0°08 Jupiter square Neptune/Pluto 0°12 Saturn square Jupiter/Node 0°17
seems like a pretty intense 3 years around here, with that Moon-Pluto-conjunction.
