"Therefore, if you work bloody hard in a lower position, Saturn will suggest pushing further which looks like a risk;" - right, that's what I meant. It can feel safer to simply accept your situation and stop trying. Crawling under a rock is risk-free. And yeah, it'll touch some other placements for sure. "Uranus in Taurus will conjunct my DSC soon, before my Sun in a few years. This Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn powercell will trine my Sun and Moon in my 3rd house; square my Venus and sextile my Saturn, conjunct Neptune. Jupiter in Scorpio is in my 1st house now, and will oppose my Sun next year. Neptune in Pisces will join in soon." - Wow, it'll be aspecting most of your chart! That conjunction giving the grand earth trine a mega-boost. Watch out, 2020. Uranus in Aries was conjunct my friend's Sun earlier this year and it played out quite literally. She's moving overseas, to another country. Completely unplanned! Took a bit of getting used to, but she now sees it's a great move for her. Uranus might shake things up a bit for ya, but in a *good* way. And I know you can take it, regardless. Haha, no hiding under a rock please I finish university next year, so that will be the start of the next chapter. It is time to unleash the energy These pesky outer planets will have no contest for me.

sven555 - Thank you for the vote of confidence. pufferfishy - Thanks also for your thoughts. I double checked your chart...we have an exact Saturn-Saturn opposition? How did I forget that? Maybe that explains some similarity in outlook. What I was trying to capture there about Cap Saturn is, amplification, a period of extra stress and extra reward. Thanks for being able to relate to my main idea there, though of course, I wish things were happier for you, too. <3 lucina Ah! I made a mental note to check the ingress chart for our location as well. Do you happen to know of any articles that research and track the outcomes for noteworthy ingress charts? Because I make these but never go back afterwards and check how the chart compares to how things really panned out. Here's my time zone's ingress chart, with a smattering of asteroids: Kaali's on my Mercury, good for putting hexes on anyone who bothers me. I'll remember that in case I need it.

So, last time, in 1988: Saturn entered Cap, went Rx to Sag, ingressed a second time.
That second time is the one that carries the weight, right?
Saturn ingress, Nov 12, 1988, 4:26 am EST
* ASC @ 23° Libra, exact on my sun-Saturn midpoint * IC @ 27° Cap, conjunct my 28° Cap progressed sun * Sun @ 20° Scorpio, in the first house, exact on my NN * 8H Jupiter @ 2° Gemini, conjunct my Ceres-Atropos * Atropos conjunct Pluto @ 12-13° Scorpio, trine 11° Pisces NN
The sun on my NN caught me by surprise. Now I REALLY wonder what these ingress charts are foretelling?
The draconic version of that ingress chart:
* Draconic ASC @ 11° Scorpio, conjunct its tropical Pluto-Atropos * Draconic sun @ 8° Sag conjunct my natal draconic Saturn @ 10° Sag * Draconic Pluto-Atropos @ 1-2° Sag, opposing my natal Atropos * Draconic moon @ 12° Cap, draconic Uranus @ 17° Cap, both conjunct my sun (on their midpoint)
So heavy, all of this. Maybe it doesn't matter at all or maybe it does? I have to research more....

Came across this article on Saturn in Cap. Here are some excerpts - Saturn in Capricorn and MoneyFinancially the swing towards getting the best value for your money will outpace I will buy it because it is the newest coolest available and I’ll worry about the payments later attitude. More and more individuals will be requesting to be rewarded for a job well done. A critical eye will fall on the CEO’s of the corporate world and whether they are squirreling away huge profits while ignoring ethical concerns for the company. The fallout of unethical behavior from large institutions, banks, governments, mega corporations will continue and accountability for past actions will be in the headlines. The economy will continue to move along steady until the last year of Saturn in Capricorn in which financial stumbles in the business and markets show up.Saturn in Capricorn and FearThere is a shadow side of Saturn in Capricorn that brings out worry around vulnerable areas of life.
Certain signs and year of births may be more susceptible to the Capricorn Saturn than others If one has been harboring a fear of being left alone and broke. The sensitive years will be 1952- 1954, 1959-1962, 1981-1983 and 1989-1990. The signs of more sensitivity to the fear mongering side of Saturn will be Capricorn and Cancer. If you have an underlying concern that you are being left out of the good things in life, money, career, prestige, relationships, health, know that the shadow side of Saturn is at work and you can flip it around by confronting what you fear and making a plan to do the best you can with the circumstances you have.Saturn in Capricorn and Relationships Relationships that do not respect each other, especially ones personal goals or emotional boundaries, will be on the proverbial Capricorn rocks. Showing up on time for dates, doing what you said you would do, not cutting corners or making excuses will all be appreciated.
The shadow side of this energy in relationships can come out when individuals have not dealt with their own stuff.<etc>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Another relevant article -- here.

pufferfishy, Thanks for all that good info! It sounds like this Saturn in Capricorn is likely to do more good than bad. It seems as the months go by, more and more people keep getting accounted for past actions. Perhaps it's a warning to those who think they can do bad things and get away with them; especially the rich and powerful. Capricorn likes to plan and plan, so that is a good idea. Just need a flexible plan. My natal Jupiter is in Sag, in my 2nd house. A cookbook astrologer would tell you that I am extravagant with money, but actually; I am very cautious; and with Saturn having been in my 2nd house for the past 2 years; it has helped me become wiser with money. This highlights the 'best-buy' instead of the 'newest fad'.

^ I suspect that along with your grand trine in earth keeps you grounded. I think you're right about being accountable for past actions! Both in good ways and bad. If one has taken unsavoury "means" to reach the goal and/or if one has taken shortcuts instead of putting in the work - then the benefits they've gotten may be in serious danger of being taken away. Positively, if one has been doing the legwork but not seeing any tangible benefits, now is the time they'll get the fruits of their labours. That's fair! The Libra in me likes that.
"Just need a flexible plan." ^ Yep. Being flexible & realistic about goals and taking actual steps to go after them. #CapSaturn
(Yay for run-on sentences. Apologies to anybody who's reading this.)

pufferfishy, this sounds positive. Hopefully everyone here will have some luck too. I did get my wish of owning a forums and slowly building it Come on Libra pufferfish!! I wonder how it will affect your Sun. Libra and Capricorn have always puzzled me in terms of how they are dfferent; is it their differences in tackling problems?

Yes, you did! And thanks for that, we have a nice platform here... I have Saturn squaring my Sun natally. Cap Saturn will move to square it at some point, before my Saturn Return. Should be alright if I've been toeing the line thus far. Libra and Capricorn - you're right, they're different in terms of how they tackle problems. Their motivations, approaches, dreams - are all reflective of their philosophies. Not only do they tackle things differently, they want different things to begin with.
