No, his Ceres is conjunct my IC; and composite Ceres is applying to conjunct his natal Ceres. Interestingly my progressed Ceres is currently conjunct our natal composite Ceres (2 degrees of the pr composite ASC).

Interestingly in our natal composite Sun is sextile Mars (3 degrees orb), so this is kind of a repeated aspect, just turning up the volume a notch or a dozen notches. lol And with Uranus there, quite crazy stuff.
BTW my brother and his girlfriend have Mars squaring their Moon-Saturn-Pluto-stellium in their composite.

Well the Saturn is probably too far out there, but the Moon-Pluto squaring Mars is quite potent (curiously that reminds me just now that P and me also have Moon square Mars in our composite, and actually Pluto is widely conjunct Mars and squaring Moon, with about 7-8 degrees, probably too far, too, oh and Saturn sextiles Mars and quinkunx MOon)
Anyway certainly not easy, but if I can attest for something with my brother and his wife is that nothing gets swept under the carpet. ever. In the initial phases of their relationships their arguments had the quality of an Italian soapopera, with her throwing his stuff LITERALLY from the window down onto the street. Or locking him out of her appartment. WEll he didn´t really tolerated this behaviour though, but after the second or third time, broke up with her because he is a very drama-free kind of guy, and does not want this drama in his life.
But after they got back together, they really sorted out those issues, that had a lot to do with her past and parental relationship and experiences of abandonment and his tendency to aloofness and easy-going-ness sort of feeding those fears in her.
They both worked it out, and by now they are one of the most equal partnership oriented couple I can think of, respecting their very different temperamental styles, and knowing when to better leave it alone, and sometimes even shut up in the heat of the moment. But they always talk it out afterwards, and honestly speaking, ever since their son has been born, they are really combining their strengths to care for the child. I think it helps if you have a shared goal with Mars-aspects like this. lol
Anyway I still think it is a potentially very intense configuration (and yes the potential for destructiveness as well as passion is certainly there), and so it sort of made me raise an eyebrow when I saw that they got married with this:

It definitely got my attention to see progressed composite JUno coming into play and activating this rather intense configuration and they got married around that time!
btw there pr c-Sun was at 24 Aries, so they had a Quarter Moon in their pr composite just 4 months prior to this, happening at the time they had their first holiday as a family.
I know it has nothing to do with my progressed compospite, but just found that interesting to trace. lol

Yeah, well, I am a bit doubtful about the Jupiter being "lucky", I know it is being said in the literature, but I don´t think it is lucky per se as I do not think Saturn is unlucky per se. It depends.
What I think it is about is expansion, Jupiter seems to expand anthing it touches, maybe that is why we think of it as lucky? Because if it touches something good, then it will be REALLY Good.
On the other hand if it touches a Cancer-tumor - it might just accelerate the growth.
Or it might not, and be indeed a guardian symbol. I don`t really know.
Whenever someone`s Jupiter is conjunct my ASC or whatever in synastry, natal synastry, I`ve felt like this planet became "larger than life" somehow, almost like being realy blown out of proportions.

Yes. I guess it also helps me grow into my and express my natal Mars-NN, it is closer for me than for him, his proximity of Mars and NN is about 10 degrees, mine is just 5 degrees.
Interestingly we also have a widish alignment of Amor and the NN natally (8 degrees for each), and consequently Amor is exactly conjunct NN in the composite.
Well synastrically his Mars squares my nodal axis with 1 degree orb, my Mars squares his nodal axis with about 3-4 degrees; his Amor squares my nodal axis with 1 degree, my Amor squares his nodal axis exact.
So somehow it just seems fitting that Amor and Mars would end up on our composite NN; almost like saying: "Look over here! There`s the work you have to do!"
Now Amor and Mars together is so weird. A truely unconditionally loving, but sometimes rather platonically loving asteroid merged with a definitely NOT unconditional, but quite physical/sexual planet.
Well we also have Cupido exact on the NN, but it does not come with that strong of underlying synastry or natal aspects. Of course there will be equal degree-distances involved, but not in the terms of ptolemaic aspects.

for each of us the distance between Cupido and NN is about 110°; it had to be a similiar distance, or else it would not have come up as conjunction (or opposition) in the composite. But it is not a major aspect.
Synastrically his Cupido is 11 degrees off my NN; my Cupido is 12 egrees off his NN.
Again, it had to be similiar distances for the conjunction/opposite in composite to occur, which is already an important thing, but as DAvid Cochrane put it, if the underlying distances involve real major aspects, the alignment is even stronger.
So I`d say the Amor-Mars beats Cupido in this instance. lol
Interestingly Mars is currently on the Amor/Cupido-midpoint (they are exactly semisextile) in the progressed composite.

Interestingly enough THEIR pr composite just had a Venus-Mars-trine, too (only their Mars being in Cancer instead of Scorpio), it is separating for them, and will go out of the 1 degree orb in a few months. (October/November).
They are being left with some very beautiful and some very difficult progressed aspects though.
