Ever compare these? Geocentric is the regular natal chart, with earth at the center and sky around it; helio maps out location of planets with sun as center.

Erm, not quite sure about whoever wrote that above. Actually it contradicts the findings on heliocentric astrology being done by astrologers before; the heliocentric depicts the universe "as it is", not from our point of view on the earth, and thus usually astrologer relate it to the "(spiritual) reality/truth behind our personal experience". Something like that. astrologystudy.blogspot.com/2011/02/heliocentric-astrology.html"In approaching this, the traditional geocentric astrological chart is a chart of your personality and the actual physical earth-centered circumstances in which you find yourself, while the heliocentric natal chart is a map of your more inner self. I like to call the heliocentric chart your ‘dharma chart,” because it is a chart of what is behind or supporting your persona. Remember the traditional astrology chart is a snapshot of what? It is a snapshot of the entire solar system as seen only from Earth’s perspective. The heliocentric (astronomer’s) chart is the actual chart of the solar system itself, of what the earth’s view is but a snapshot of. We need both views to be complete." michaelerlewine.wordpress.com/2010/08/08/understanding-the-solar-or-sun-perspective/Philip Sedgwick also has a great writing on the heliocentric system. I just have to look for the book in my stuff. lol Basically it seems to be a chart of the "higher Self" whatever that means to anyone. Some sort of spiritual energy/ knowledge/ awareness driving you to manifest things on earth (your trpical chart). So ouldn´t be further from the quoted author. lol

Example:
Helio Venus conjunct geo Mercury: you give expression of your core love energies (helio planets are always especially energized, as the fire of the sun is infusing them) in Mercurial terms on earth, communication, wirting etc. Possibly someone who couls write wonderful love novels with a lot of depth and energy behind them.

our current progressed helio composite (just remembered that Mir was pointing this one out to me once upon a time, but then it seemed so long until then, and well then just became NOW. lol) one use of aluminium

Inner versus outer confuses me, as the barrier is sort of illusory: we absorb everything and the world absorbs us. Yeah? Pisces moon fish philosophy. But thanks lucina! Be back soon.

Exactly! That is the precise reason why I abandoned helio charts again. Of course the inner as well as the outer is part of our charts anyway. As for helio charts, I do look at them, but more so like watching things because of some aesthetical value, I don´t really get a feel for their meaning. So yes P and me have some helio synastry that is very interesting, but I am just not sure what it really means, different from tropical. And this talk about higher Self, which I did myself years ago, it doesn`t really have meaning for me either anymore. So I feel a bit uncomfortable around those charts maybe I am just too dumb to get it. Synastrically what we have is my helio Mars 22 Scorpio his helio Uranus 21 Scorpio and geo Uranus 23 Scorpio my helio Jupiter 22 Pisces his geo Pholus 23 PIsces his geo ASC 25 Pisces my helio Venus 19 Cap his helio Pluto 19 Libra - it is at least interesting that the square that is "missing" from our normal synastry, is showing up here my helio Venus 19 Cap his helio Saturn 20 Virgo my helio SAturn 13 Cancer his helio Juno 13 Cancer his helio Venus 6 Pisces his helio Mars 5 Leo my helio Pluto 7 Libra and some bits like this, but really, it just doesn`t really "grip" me, helio synastry (juast like sidereal doesn`t do this, while Draco grips me a lot).

StarVega also try the helio composite! I remember I was rather surprised when I first looked at ours. lol Lovely kite there I have one with my husband but that goes to show not all kites are created equal. Well the apex of ours is Chiron, conjunct my geo moon. Base is Uranus-Pluto opposing my geo moon. Earth on my helio Chiron.....too much Chiron for me.

Looking at Elvis' helio, as I weigh the public versus private interpretations. This chart looks like neither: It looks unremarkable. The midpoints are interesting, though, especially where Venus shows up: Mercury = Jupiter/Uranus (0°37, direct midpoint) Venus = Mars/Pluto (0°02) and Mercury/Saturn (0°49, direct) Jupiter = Venus/Mercury (0°51) Neptune = Moon/Jupiter (0°15, direct) Uranus = moon/Venus (1°14) and Mercury/Pluto (0°47) (direct midpoints) Electrically communicating depth, to delight of women? lol Pluto = moon/Mercury (0°40)

They list the earth and moon separately, with about 0°08 orb between them, in my chart anyway (not sure if that's variable).
Gonna list my helio midpoints without worrying about orbs or directness for the moment. Just want to put this here for a reminder to myself, basically.
All within 1°30. Almost every midpoint involves Mercury, Saturn, or both:
Earth = Mercury/Pluto, Mars/Saturn Moon = Mercury/Venus Mercury = moon/Saturn Venus = Saturn/Neptune Mars = Saturn/Neptune Jupiter = Mercury/Uranus Saturn = Mercury/Uranus Neptune = Mercury/Saturn Pluto = earth/Mars, moon/Mars

Ha! I love when we get naughty with charts. Synastry excerpts: *(I was going to leave draco out of this, but some things jumped out at me. Will either add more consistently or erase later, lol.)
1.
My Helio Venus trine A's natal Sun
My Helio Mars conj A's natal Venus (repeated in synastry). Unfortunately, this also means my Helio Saturn squares that Venus.
My Helio Merc-Pluto conjunct A's natal Mars-Neptune (Neppy is a bit wide, only mentioning coz they're closely conjunct in the natal). A's Helio Venus on my natal NN/Neptune/Uranus (and draco Sun).
A's Helio Mars on my natal Sun-Moon midpoint, sextile nSun-Moon (this is the only midpoint of mine I know or keep track of).
A's Helio Juno on my natal Moon/Asc. (Not a romantic relationship, but interesting). A's Helio Saturn opposing my natal Venus (repeated from tropical synastry)
2. A's Helio Earth/moon opposing my natal Merc/Mars. A's Helio Earth/moon conj. my draco Moon/Asc
A's Helio Mars on my natal Uranus & draco Sun. A's Helio Neptune on my natal Sun-Moon midpoint, sextile nSun/Moon.
My Helio Venus trine A's natal Venus/Jupiter/Saturn A's Helio Pluto on my natal Sun (repeated from tropical synatry)
A's Helio Venus squaring my natal Mars, opp. n Saturn.
3.
A's Helio Earth/Moon opposing my natal Venus. A's Helio mercury conj. my natal Moon.
A's Helio Jupiter-Saturn opposition squaring my natal Sun. A's Helio Mars squaring my natal Nodes.

P.S. I've also been confused about Helio charts. Not entirely on board with the signs. But I do relate to some of the aspects. Merc conj. Pluto (which, incidentally, I also have in my mercury persona chart, 0° orb). This makes sense to me, because I exhibit those traits, but I have no natal Merc-Pluto aspect. Although it is in Scorpio, so that contributes. However, in these charts, there is a conjunction between Mercury and Pluto, on my natal Pluto. So maybe there's something to it. Venus is all over the place. Square Jupiter (both at critical degrees), trine Saturn, sesquiquadrate Uranus-Neptune, opposing Merc-Pluto. Yay. Neptune widely squares Earth/moon too, so there's that. Helio's the best version of me, apparently, so we gotta hope that's the good sorta Neptune.
