I just looked at my chart again, and I just realised how afflicted my moon is apart from a conjunction to my sun, no other planet is nice to it! However, I know I can be a little moody and worrisome sometimes, I wouldn't say I have any emotional or mental problems. Does being in Taurus affect this more then because that's all I can find to explain my otherwise mental strength. Also, it's in the 11H. All interpretations of this placement are lovely unless its afflicted Does anyone have any advice, or experience with afflicted 11H moon? Maybe also in Taurus? Thanks in advance

Oh unless this actually implies that my friends are mentally/emotionally afflicted because friends from my past have been?
But what about for the native then? What interpretations are left for the native? haha

Hi FruityLlama, I'm curious about which planets are afflicting your moon? It depends on the whole situation....but I'd say, if you feel fine, you're fine! Advice? Keep doing whatever is working for you. But if you care to list the afflictions, I might have more ideas.

FruityLlama"However, I know I can be a little moody and worrisome sometimes, I wouldn't say I have any emotional or mental problems. Does being in Taurus affect this more then because that's all I can find to explain my otherwise mental strength." I actually think Taurus is more helpful than hindering you. If I remember correctly, you have a Cancer ASC, so that explains your Moon being highlighted in your chart. Those traits sound more Cancer than Taurus; plus Taurus should help balance your emotions and 11th house help you do something about it; or at least have ideas. You have Moon conjunction Sun in 11th, so using my own experiences (I have Moon in 11th too), you either attract who are quite emotional/sensitive. I don't always think it is true about gender just because it is a feminine planet, it is likely you'll attract both men and women of this character. But as always, you will get to choose your friends; that is what I learnt. pick the best Do you confide in your friends alot? Maybe you need help from others to balance out your chart, so that isolated Moon/Sun conj is aspected by someone or many people and then they can set you on the right path.

Ohh I forgot you had it too! And yes I think I do attract those types of people, but the 11th house I think definitely enables a more objective view of myself at times. I always try to see the bigger picture in order to judge acordingly. I confide in my friends a bit, not with everything but I have shared some deeply personal stuff with the ones I have now because they're great. My friends now are more air, fire and earth..not a lot of water to them. The ones I had before were particularly horrible and nearly all had water moons. Not that I dislike water moons but I think it's hard to deal with as a teenager.. more prone to those mood swings u know. My parents and a lot of my family have water moons so I'm sure those people who were horrible to me will get a grip at some point. But yes, it seems like my stubborn Taurus planets need balancing haha. It's not the most inspired chart isn't mine, my soul just wanted everything in taurus haha!

StarVega Thanks for your reply! My afflictions are: Semis. Saturn 2 degree apply Square Uranus 4 degree separate Square neptune 9 degrees separate Opposing Nn 1 degree applying Hi again I would guess that the moon semisquare Saturn feels like a bit of an itch and nagging feeling to be more serious; I would look to Saturn's sign and house placement for clues about what Saturn is saying....Saturn usually wants something from you. Since you're a Taurus and Saturn rules a fellow earth sign, you may not experience much friction with it. You might consider it helpful to have Saturn there, as it drives you towards self-improvement. Moon square Uranus looks challenging. Perhaps you don't always know WHAT you feel because it can change so rapidly. With a steady (exalted!) Taurus moon, you might sense it like ripples under the surface, and others may not even realize how antsy you are feeling. But there will be signs. By way of comparison: my ex had Taurus moon on his SN, opposing Uranus. He seemed very calm most of the time. If he liked someone, it was almost impossible from them to get a bad reaction from him. He seemed to have this huge well of patience. But he would throw people off nevertheless; there were sudden changes of plans, wardrobe surprises that left people scratching their heads, a unique sense of humor (if he thought something was funny, he'd keep laughing as long as he liked, whether anyone else got the joke or not.) I think moon-Uranus makes a person quite individualistic. Perhaps one thing to realize is, while it might seem that there are two tempos, the steadiness of Taurus and suddenness of Uranus, there will be people who can dance that funky rhythm with you and appreciate it, especially other Uranian types. Looks like Uranus is a skipped step for you, squaring your nodes, so the way you handle your more eccentric leanings may have a strong impact on your future. More than other people, you can harness Uranus for your own good, and it will reward you, or you can let it get out of control, and it will feel like it's part of your temporary "downfall"...those times that you get into a funk. Maybe you will think of spontaneous decisions you made that turned out badly, and grow a little too hesitant to try that again, and then rebel against your own restrictions, but act too impulsively again. Moon-node square Uranus reminds me of driving a stick shift that glitches a lot, but then as you learn to pay closer attention and drive better, the car drives exceptionally well. Other factors can play a huge role and I don't know your whole chart, but those are the basic ideas that come to mind.

StarVegaMoon semisquare Saturn: I do in public feel awakward really easily and its hard for me to express myself properly actually even though in my head and online I am more open. However, I do feel a drive towards self improvement, you're right and I'm aware of my flaws. My Saturn is in Pisces...I was wondering in class actually (haha) whether this means I am being asked to be more...spiritual? It's in my tenth house right on MC as well. Moon-Uranus: What you wrote is spot on! I have been told I am very patient. I can be a bit random at home though, I think. And I will laugh forever if I think something is funny. Moon node-Uranus: I totally missed this! I have no problem airing my individualities, which is surprising to myself. I like what I like and I'm proud of it, I just wish I didn't also have that sensible voice nagging me in the back of my mind all the time. I can feel Uranus wanting me to break free from my comfort zone, and the rights and wrongs I was told of as a child. A part of me understands the importance of learning for yourself, the other tells me to listen to those more experienced. I guess I'm just a perpetual limbo dancer like that! I always find a way of integrating my strangeness into more conservative things. For example, I was going to integrate some astrology into a scientific language project (i am not now because it won't be practical to do so at this point, but my idea was accepted at first). So basically, what you wrote was amazingly put! It's made me appreciate those placements a lot more- thank you very much, I hope I can analyse placements like you one day!!

Also, I would like to point something out which is something I have been noticing alot of time. It seems to me when you are both you have both applying and seperating aspects from planets to other planets; but what do these actually mean? In Horary, applying is coming to you, seperating is going away from you. In synastry, applying is the union of energies, separating is the parting of energies (although within reason). But in natal charts, I think that applying aspects are lessons TO BE LEARNT and seperating aspects are PREVIOUSLY LEARNT lessons.I would like to know if anyone has noticed this at all! FruityLlama, StarVega, lucina and anyone else!
So in this instance, Fruity, you already have Moon square Uranus energy in you because it is separating. Uranus has left some energy in you and you have to use it.

sven555I meant to ask you about those Sven! Thank you! Yes, I can pin point things that resonate with me because they are already integrated, although I sort of feel my Uranus-Moon is an on going lesson.. Also what would you say about a native with seperating aspects to their nodes? Does that mean they are free of those lessons at the time of birth? The are here for less strict reasons or something?

Applying aspects will yet Happen in the Progressions, so relate to an experience that is developing in Life. Ex My ASC 7 sag My Neptune 9-10 sag That would have happened at age 2-3. I think it relates to either the birth of my brother ( Neptune rules intercepted 3rd ) or might even describe me drowning at about that age.

Perhaps it is more learning to handle the energy because it is already with you, you haven't collected it on your journey. Seperating aspects from nodes perhaps mean past or previous objectives in life, which you don't need to do anymore. Hmm I don't really know to be honest, but something along those lines. Save

Has it had any repercussions on you? I really hope it means more the birth of your brother Save

sven555 Ah I see, yes I think so! And I guess that would make sense, even if you had no karma or whatever, you might still be sub/unconsciously aware of those lessons with separating aspects to nodes.
