Hi sven555In synastry I like to see some tighter, positive aspects between the luminaries especially. That's how I identify a basic level of familiarity and understanding. So automatically I would have to guess this doesn't seem like a case of star-crossed lovers or anything dramatic like that. Still, there is some nice mirroring going on that could smooth out any temperamental differences. The Gemini's sun is conjunct Venus, to match your Taurus sun ruled by Venus. Gemini has a 6H sun, you have a Virgo moon. Gemini's got a Taurus Mercury, you're a Gemini Mercury...that alone might do wonders for compatibility. Gem's DSC is ruled by Mercury, so their Mercury conjunct your sun is all the more significant. To me it looks like it could last. Gem's Mars conjunct your sun creates attraction and a bit of friction. Your natal sun trine moon, theirs squaring the moon...I wonder if they might have some internal agitation that's quite mysterious to fathom. In your world things just run more smoothly than that. Virgo moon is a healer, so you might apply yourself to that square. Your help won't go unappreciated, but Pisces moons can be a little tricky and elusive. Your Scorpio ASC should be able to get a clear reading on that moon...where the Virgo energy might lean towards "tried and true" methods of helping, which sometimes miss the mark with Pisces, the Scorpio intuition might take over and really win the heart over. (Assuming you want to.) Mars square Mars....is not my favorite aspect, but it could make things interesting, give you things to fight about (every couple needs that, right?)  |

Wow, thank you so much for an in depth reading StarVega This is really good to hear, it sounds positive regardless of the lack of Moon aspects. But that might be a problem. I notice that I have Moon/Neptune and they have a Pisces Moon. Their moon squares my Mercury/Jupiter; they have a Moon in 2nd house which could match with my Taurus Sun. But yes, Pisces Moon's can be elusive  |

What about house overlays? Because they look positive too Me to them: My sun in their 4th/5th My moon in their 8th My Mercury in their 6th My Venus in their 3rd My Mars in 8th Them to me: Their sun in my 8th Their moon in my 4th Their Mercury in my 7th Their Venus in my 8th Their Mars in my 7th Exemption of outer planets. |

Yes, I agree, lots of positive overlays. Mars in the 8th intrigues me. My experience hasn't been so great with it. Sometimes, I think, the Mars person can overwhelm the house person. Well Mars is the kind of energy that always runs that risk. I see it a bit like Mars-Pluto synastry (since the 8th is the house of Pluto). Powerful and perfect in the right conditions, overpowering and disastrous when it backfires. Like giving a child a blow torch...that's my analogy for Mars-Pluto in an already unstable relationship. I have said things to them when they were thinking about the same thing such as suggesting an object or talking about a certain topic. 8th house, the house of secrets. |

Their sun on your Vertex in your 8th, sextile your own Mars, it's easy to see why you would want to get more active with them, let's just say. Mars in the 8th both ways, there are things to do with that...and the composite is impressive, like I was saying. I want to know more but what's the use, asking a Scorpio ASC person? If I could interview you my first question would be, are you two already in a relationship? |

Very interesting take on Mars in 8th overlay. this one puzzles me a lot, too, as my Mars (and ASC) fall into P`s 8th house as well. I wonder if he feels like that sometimes. Sorry did not want to interrupt here, and do not have anything valuable to add, you did such a superb job at analyzing that chart. I guess the only thing missing is the progressed synastry now. |
