Hi folks. So my question is: in sports prediction when Moon is VOC we generally interpret it as "the favourite wins" or, when there is no clear favourite, as a possible draw. However how do you attribute who`s the real favourite? Is it just by looking at the team current status, or even in VOC you define it through ASC checking? Example: imagine Portugal vs Lesotho or so. Moon is VOC. Portugal plays black, Lesotho white. 1H Venus, 7H Saturn or so. Who`s the favourite here? Portugal has the ranking. Lesotho has the ASC. Hope this is clear. Cheers!

Hey azif, To identify the favourite, you can use bookies odds. In your example, one would assume Portugal to be the favourite against Lesotho. However if we have 2 teams of equal/reasonable quality, the favourite is usually identified by the home team, but if they play at a neutral location, I guess you could use recent head-to-head record. For the match itself, the powers of the rulers will determine the outcome. If the ruler of the favourite is stronger than the underdog, the favourite will win; however if the power of the underdog is stronger than or equal to the favourite, the match will end a draw. There have been examples where this theory is incorrect, especially if you have many games playing at once. But obviously something more must be going on; manager/club/player transits. Club transits would indicate long term success. Manager transits would indicate good/bad days at the office. Player transits; performance, energy and luck.

Although bookie's odds can be very tricky: for instance, last night friendly Chivas vs Porto started with a 2.50 for Porto victory and went dramatically down has the game approached, almost in 1.30. So I don't trust very much in bookies for determining ASC and DSC. I use to choose them always according to the rulers and sign of 1H and 7H. But yet the question remains: do you need or not to check "powers" even in a VOC Moon, or - like in cases as the hypothetical Portugal-Lesotho - is it just enough to know that one team is way more stronger than another, so the victory of the underdog is off table? This is not any criticism to you comment - which I appreciated - but something that I think is not clearly defined within Sports Astrology. Specially in the cases with one bookie or statistical favourite which is not the ASC if you check the chart. About the club/coach/player transits, I agree with you. PS. I see the match between Chivas and Porto ended 2-2. Favourite/Underdog is rather unreliable in most instances unless the teams are really that far apart in ability. Yeah you still need to check the powers because anything could happen
