Hey everyone, Pluto is nearly exactly trine my natal Sun, can anyone give me help as to what this transit involves?

In the past I would have downplayed any trines or sextiles of transiting planets, as the 4th harmonic aspects are really those event-triggering ones.
However my perspective (possibly) changes a bit.
I could imagine - and that is just me guessing, as I belong to the Group of Sag-People who experience the outer planets mostly in conjunction and square in Transits, at least Tr Pluto-,
however I could imagine that the trine will have its effect, but in a different way than a 4th harmonic aspect. while with the squares or conjunction or Opposition it seems that we can often pinpoint a Moment or a Phase that is like a demarcation line between before and after, a shock Moment, some strong jolt-moment, that PUSHES us into a Change/ shift, with the trine it could be that it is smoother, more a GRADUAL TRANSITION than this PUSH or JOLT.
The Change/ shift is Happening, but it might feel so natural and flowing that you don´t really notice in the midst of it.
Tr Pluto trine Sun (I have that one in progressions interestingly at the current time) seems to have to do with a gradual Transformation or shaping of the core identity and Self-expression. In your case this would probably have some tangible results, at least in the Long run, as your Sun most probably is in an Earth sign.
but well all just a theory here. Maybe it`s completely different for you.

thanks for your insight lucina. Much appreciated ! I think you are right about the trine being much more smoother than a conj/square or opposition. Right now, Mars is conjunction my Sun and squaring my MC, which I feel more than trines/sextiles. It may well be different for me than it was for you, but equally it is interesting to hear experiences

Tr Pluto conjunct my 15 Cap sun, it didn't seem too noticeable. I'm technically finished with that transit but Pluto Rx will return to 16 Cap later this year, so maybe more will happen.
Tr Pluto sextile my 8H moon and Scorpio NN, that is more intense, as it's like triple Pluto energy.
These three form a minor triangle with Pluto at the apex, and I've been Scorpionic/Plutonic lately. Learning more about people, uncovering secrets, seeing how I trusted where I should not have trusted, seeing my own shortcomings. Heavy reality checks.
And there are similarities in my experiences now as when tr Pluto was sextile my sun. In both cases, a forced change in my way of thinking, due to outside circumstances.

StarVega not noticeable? ? Honestly, the last month alone, reeked of Pluto (though the challenging part of him of course). (you described the Plutonic process pretty perfectly, too) BTW I have been reading up on the Capricorn Research site and found this They state that the major turning points in life come with the Pluto-transits "Transits will be limited mainly to aspects to the person’s Sun although the Moon and Ascendant and ruling planet can also be included. The only aspects used will be conjunctions, oppositions and squares. The only transitting planet used will be Pluto." astrologyresearch.co.uk/why-pluto/Personally I think I would add a few other planets/ angles to this (and definitely not discredit Tr Saturn, Tr Uranus, tr Neptune or tr nodal axis either), but just sticking with that for a moment. I checked when Tr Pluto was conjunct my Sun (used orb is 1 degree in the research as well as in my practice) I foundt his during these periods: January 2006 - july 2006 November 2006 - december 2006 july - october 2007 yes, yes and yes. Maybe not much in terms of OUTER events (no deaths or births as far as I recall, the only outer event really was crossing paths with P, registering at LL, and someone sort of touching my life again after many many years, so I could process and end some unfinished business, internally at least), the internal processing was huge though, or rather deep. This was of course followed by Tr Pluto conjunct my Venus in march - may 2010 december 2010 - february 2011 may 2011 - december 2011 august - october 2012 this one was a bit crazy. lol And right now I am undergoing Tr Pluto opposite Saturn followed by Tr Pluto on my Sun/Moon-mp and Antivertex in february - july 2018 january - march 2019 june - december 2019 january 2020 august 2020 - november 2020 Well I`ll let you know. lol But yes, I definitely can see the Pluto-transits at work (though not on their own of course, there was usually more going on)

It sounds to me as if it influences you in very subtle ways. As you say, it changes the way you think; which has been truthful for me so far, things I done only 1 year ago, I can't see myself doing them again. After Pluto trines my Sun, it goes on to sextile my Saturn, Conj Neptune and then Sextile my Natal Pluto before sextile Uranus. But that is in the next 3 years I believe. I read somewhere Plutonian transits last 5 years or so, so it is unlikely you will wake up one morning and feel different. lucina and StarVega, looks like you have both had some interesting experiences and probably have more still to come. Starvega, Pluto is coming back for seconds and Lucina, those future transits look influential

lucinaWell my online life has been crazy these past two months, possibly that's Pluto, or possibly it's tr Uranus conjunct my Chiron, on my rectified MC. I could look back and see this as a pivotal time in my life. I just don't have that perspective now, maybe I'm in the eye of the storm? Thanks for the Cap Research link. "In this research only major watershed events of a person’s life will be considered. Transits will be limited mainly to aspects to the person’s Sun although the Moon and Ascendant and ruling planet can also be included. The only aspects used will be conjunctions, oppositions and squares. The only transitting planet used will be Pluto." In my life, so far, transiting Pluto has signified major changes, especially when conjunct my NN and Venus. I have a feeling I may not know what exactly Pluto was doing to me until this transit is completely over, after that final strike later this year. sven555"As you say, it changes the way you think; which has been truthful for me so far, things I done only 1 year ago, I can't see myself doing them again." I can relate to that. Even now, I feel like I'm in a new cocoon and changing. Not sure if I will emerge a moth or butterfly. These days I have no preference, I just hope I can live as authentically as I know how. Cheers, you two.

You will become a butterfly after the next pluto transit If it is true about Pluto hard aspects to the Sun, Moon, ASC or chart Ruler, I have to wait about 12 years for that!

Pluto turned direct last week within 1 degree of my Sun (forming a trine aspect).
With both Saturn and Pluto going direct recently, I have started to feel the strain of these planets.
I have started to have anxiety problems again but I feel it's either unsolved problems or that they are trying to tell me that I need to completely change my life. I plan to have counselling from the doctors to help me understand the problem.
Pluto sits in my 3rd house, Saturn in my 2nd house. Pluto has been there for goodness knows how long and Saturn will enter my 3rd house within 6 months; I hope this will be a better change.

I'd take Saturn return at anytime. Words cannot explain....well may be. BRUTAL! Transformational? mnn yeah...to put it nicely.
Let me speak in Pluto square Sun language. Hope you won't die....literally. Other death will certainly ensure.
So your pluto is in the 3rd H, may be not as bad as 1st H then. Transforming the way you communicate.....is definitely a good thing. Study anything to do with communication like body language...beneficial to you in the long run.

hey tora, thanks for your response! Natally my pluto is in my 1st house; so not exactly a stranger to it's ways haha But Transit Pluto has been in my 3rd house for an awful long time, maybe 14 years? Transforming seems to be the key; as you say.

For those who would like to study Sun sq Pluto transit.
The symbolism occurred here is just great! Let us remember, our bodies are temple. Fire purifies.
The old structure (Saturn) is destroyed (SN/Pluto/Saturn conjunction squared by Sun in Aries (fire)) and will have to be regenerated (Pluto).
Sun Square Pluto: The Heart of a Black Hole
^ The blogger's experience describes well balanced throught process on embracing your shadow side which is unconscious to you.
A black hole is a portal. A womb/cervix is also a portal where baby, another soul comes out from the spirit realm.
It is certainly making think.
