I want to test out something I found whilst looking at some of the charts of those who I am close with (family, friends, etc..) Here is the process, think of people in your life now and from the past. - Take the sign on your ASC, Sun and Moon. (For me, Scorpio ASC, Taurus Sun and Virgo Moon)
- Now look at the corresponding houses to the signs. (Scorpio -> 8th, Taurus -> 2nd, Virgo -> 6th)
- Now check these houses in your friends, family, partners of old and new.
Do you notice any patterns?
It seems to me people who I have stayed in contact with for a long time have something in each of these houses. More the 2nd and 6th houses. Some have their Moon in 6th, or Sun in 2nd; or vice versa. Some have Venus in 6th, Mars in 6th.
Despite their planet being in a different sign; the 6th house placement must match up with my Moon in Virgo.
I wait for your results

That's interesting, sven555 . There certainly can be a house-sign resonance. Houses ruled by the sign are where that sign best expresses itself, its area of expertise. Where it has the "home ground" advantage. Say somebody's mercury is in the 8th - even if it's not in Scorpio, it will be pre-occupied with thoughts of the 8th house and be "hidden" from public view as the 8th house is. It may not have the style of discourse that Scorpio mercury has, but it will be interested in similar matters, and harbour a similar dislike of superficiality. I don't know enough birth times to add to this. But I'll be back with what I can scrape together.

I agree with your analysis, and also my Mercury is in 8th house in Gemini; so what you say resonates some true. Perhaps compare people's planets to your own chart. So do you have Sun in libra, does someone have Sun in the 7th? Haha I have that too. Moon in 7th, Mercury?

Aah, mercury in the 8th, and you study esoteric subjects like astrology. Haha, you have sun in the 7th, eh? Very personable.
I don't have other people's birth times, but I have mine. So,my 8th house stellium gets along with people who have Scorpio energy. 5th house chiron, 11th house Uranus/Neptune. The Leo/Aqua suns I meet never seem to stick around. My sun was in my Cancer friend's 4th house. A Virgo I know also has an 8th house stellium.

Leo ASC - 5H Cap sun - 10H Pisces moon - 12H
I don't have a lot of birth times for people I know "in real life." My online friends do tend to have 12H planets...maybe it's our reclusive side that compels us to spend time in this disembodied/hidden/anonymous state online? Actually 12H Saturn is common, Pisces Saturn, Saturn trine Neptune, things like that........
I relate strongly to that kind of energy. I like seeing spiritual concepts (Neptune) substantiated (Saturn), backed with evidence, given respect.
That being said, probably the main thing that all my friends have in common is strong Aquarius/Uranus energy, which is my DSC.
Aqua ASC, Aqua moon, Aqua NN, Aqua anything, I seem to inhale this stuff.........
Maybe because my progressed sun has been in Aquarius most of my life? I dunno.

So your online friends follow your Pisces Moon and the 12th house energy, I see. The progressed Sun is interesting actually; I noticed that here too. You start wondering why you attract those characters when "astrologically" deemed incompatible. But when you use your progressed Sun against their Natal planets; you see why!
