I am still learn in horrary. But There is a big question need to answer.
I live in East Java. Indonesia.
My country Indonesia, is developed country. In year 1945, finally get Independence after colonialized by Dutch and Japan. But tragically 20 year after the Independence day. in 1965 There was a coup de etat did by right wing military, and the country back to dark age. Indonesian people colonialized again, the agressor is not Dutch/Japan but their own people.
After people movement, most did by college student in 1998. Finally the dictator knocked down and replaced by new goverment.
New goverment did alot thing after it. Most people got improvement, free education, free health acces. Free speech, and democracy run safe and smooth. Fancy car and nice house now is common, and now is extreme far better compared pre 1998 era.
But democracy also have a negative impact. People that come from afganishtan, iraq, syria, and Many of them are ex ISIS or Al Qaeda. They are closing poor and uneducated people to teach their beliefes. And their beliefs now spread on educated and rich people, and politician too, free speech effect.
This people called as fanatics. Now they are around 3 million people from 260 million people of indonesia.
Naturally, from thaosand years ago indonesian people could accept diversion, They are tolerance. From the beginning, there are many tribes, language, culture, religion. So people have been used to live with it.
But now It change In the last 5 years. This fanatics demand exclusiveness. They wanna change the law to islamic law. They challenge other religion, also challenge the same religion but diffirencd principle as them.Most people here are islam, but not islam as middle east. And the fanatics hate it, because common people are disagree with their beliefs and People are happy with the old law.
From year to another year their number are growing. 4 years ago they sweeping church, 2 years ago they throwing governor in jail For blasphemy. And now they are screwing up the president election. I dont know what will happen in the next year. I fear the diversion and tolerance will dissapear inIndonesia the next decade.
So my question same as title, please help me to understand the chart.
