Currently these planets are transiting widely square to each other. Today: 13.48 Libra Jupiter, Rx 19.10 Capricorn Pluto, Rx Next perfect square: August 4th, 2017 chaninicholas.com/2016/11/justice-needs-you-jupiter-square-pluto/--- So this got me thinking about these aspects in natal charts and in transit. Currently Jupiter is transiting conjunct my Pluto. For weeks now I have been bored to the point of pain, wanting to learn something new, something that unlocks the secrets of the universe. The other day I got an email from my friend, who is my age, and she mentioned the same kind of frustration: "Nothing I'm reading can hold my interest. I'm tired of everything I'm learning." It makes sense when I see Jupiter as a seeker, and Pluto as an abyss. Put them together and there is a desire to dig very deep, but it's a little frustrating for Jupiter, when things are so dark and deep they can't be articulated easily. Only the clearest and most profound ideas stand out against that darkness and will satisfy. --- In light of that, my natal Jupiter-Pluto opposition seems to suggest a chronic, intense curiosity, something that might lead to desperate measures taken towards learning. My sun squares both planets and stands at the apex of this t-square, so it's a defining trait of mine, that I'm prone to excess, obsession, needing the truth or else...these kinds of situations. Sometimes life seems like one giant rabbit hole with one burrow tunneling into another. --- Anyway, I'd like to ask if anyone has Jupiter aspecting Pluto in their natal? Or, does anyone have opinions of these aspects that they'd like to share? I will be adding some examples of celebrities with these aspects, along with some readings.

Jupiter-Pluto aspects can often lead to great wealth, and expansion of something big. Obviously one aspect does not define such things but you could think of Jupiter-Pluto as a big giant cauldron, and it is waiting for you to add some spices and stir! (I think the conjunction is an indicator of wealth more often). In your case StarVega, a configuration of Sun-Jupiter-Pluto is likely to indicate that your self-expression and core personality is influenced by both Jupiter and Pluto; it is clear you enjoy learning and studying; and Pluto gives you the chance to dig to the deepest crystals. The transit of Jupiter coming along will force you to shift everything you have learnt so far and try something new; maybe something complete foreign and unknown to you. Here is one trick for you; look at the sign of the transit planet for a clue. For example; in 2015 and 2016, I had Saturn in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Libra both aspect my Gemini Mercury. When Saturn hit my Mercury I started to learn French. (Saturn is the discipline and Sagittarius is foreign languages), But when Jupiter came along last year; I took to learning languages better than ever and started to learn Polish because I wanted a greater challenge. Within 90 days I had mastered the basics instinctively. So the key here is to look at Libra and think what can I do with it because Jupiter is telling you to learn thing new! The opposition aspect means 'lesson', Libra is about diplomacy etc I think.

Diplomatically, kind sir, I will say that your advice to cultivate better manners is not falling on deaf ears. Thank you very much for the reading. Merci beaucoup, muchas gracias and danke schoen. I'm really a dunce with foreign languages but if I could just master the basics of German I would be so happy. I'm really impressed that you learned Polish in three months. How much did you have to study each day?

I will agree to disagree on this case madam. haha not a problem. Perhaps that is the key in this instance; considering Jupiter is currently Rx (well it will move forward in June and will blast all the way into Scorpio before it does another cycle. I did study each day for Polish, and had 2 lessons a week; private lessons and with the determination to speak as early as possible. Always speak/listen before reading/writing. 90 days was the point where I could start to grasp the pronounciation and lesson new words myself.
I only used languages just to give you an example; it might be another area for you!! A new area. What house will Transit Jupiter sit in your houses? Is it 2nd, 3rd or 4th house? What houses does your Natal Pluto rule? Save

Thanks again sven555What are we disagreeing on? My manners? *curtsies* I am only trying to improve. I've got: 16° Aries Jupiter, 9H 15° Cap sun, 6H 11° Libra Pluto, 3H So the current Jupiter-Pluto square falls in my communication houses (3H, 6H) and activates my natal cardinal t-square. Definitely feels like a good time to learn how to speak. And I'm relieved at your advice to listen/speak a foreign language before learning to write. Listening is easy. I have German stories on cassette tapes that I put in a walkman and listen to as I walk. My Gemini Mars likes to combine language and movement. Thanks for your help & interest.

Curious themes I picked up on while constructing the above lists:
1) VOICE
So many people here have distinctive voices, it's like you can hear the straining of Jupiter-Pluto inner pressure.
Sometimes that sounds scratchy or low: James Earl Jones, Ray Charles, Al Pacino, Leonard Cohen, Peter Gabriel, Bob Dylan
Sometimes the voice is elastic, with an impressive or distinctive range: Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Joan Baez, Andrea Bocelli
All of these voices reflecting an inner psychology that is built for overcoming adversity. It's as if the person was thinking, "I can't really sing, so I'm going to prove I can sing anyway. I can do whatever I want." (Scratchy voice.) Or maybe thinking, "I am determined to sing anything I want, as well as I can."
It's really thematic when the singer is singing about overcoming adversity or carrying things to extremes in Jupiter-Pluto fashion. For example, Elvis singing "You Gave Me a Mountain" or Andrea Bocelli singing about the mighty sun.
2) FILMMAKING/SCI-FI
These people will turn up in virtually any celebrity list, for obvious reasons. I was just impressed to find so many famous filmmakers having this aspect. There seems to be a love of science fiction, new frontiers, breaking through boundaries..that's evident in the multitude of authors represented here, too. I was surprised George Lucas didn't have this aspect. Then I looked and saw that his moon is conjunct the Jupiter/Pluto midpoint:
6 Leo Pluto 18 Leo Jupiter 11 Aqua moon
3) RESOURCEFULNESS
Similar to what I noticed about the voices, many of these people have seemed to make mediocrity their trademark, which suggests more of an inner power that can move forward regardless of the "vehicle." In this category I place many actors, actresses, and models who aren't especially good-looking. But their intensity has a compelling power to it: Cara Delevingne, Benecio del Toro, Bob Dylan again.
4) COMEDY
It's to be expected when Jupiter, planet of cheerfulness and levity, meets Pluto, planet of truth.
5) MENTAL PROBLEMS
Straining under the weight of ambition....or struggling with what excess ambition has delivered into one's life. Feeling that one should be able to overcome the impossible, and self-blaming when that proves false.
Amanda Byne, Demi Lovato, Robin Williams, Elvis

Here's Michael Jackson telling you about himself...not sure how much of a smooth criminal he was, since he never served time for alleged crimes, but I think every Jupiter-Pluto person can identify with with this feeling:
Jupiter is our religion and philosophy, also expansion. Pluto is intensity and darkness. When they go together the person may have too much intensity, struggle to find proper outlets for it, and sometimes find themselves guilty of overkill or moral missteps (poorly directed inner passion). And then they may have an awareness or philosophy about that (Jupiter).
Just exploring these ideas.....I'm still not completely clear on it.

StarVegaHaha you must remember to agree to disagree so we don't upset the harmony! OH wow, by strange coincedence it does activate your 3H and 6H houses which only emphasis the need to re-learn how to speak; using something you have learnt in the past. Everything appears to have fallen into place. Start right from the beginning if you decide to take on German Save

sven555 Our suns are trine. Our Mercuries are trine. We can say whatever, and it'll be harmonious, by order of the universe. kidding Do you know German? lucina knows German. I can't even count to ten in German, I'm only up to four and I pronounce those words badly. I need some kind of quantum leap with this. Maybe the transits will help, as you said. Hope so.
