How do all the midpoints work in your Natal chart? For example if you had "Sun = Venus/Mars"

The energy of the midpointing planets fuses at the point of the planet, so the planet in question is sort of energized with that energy. In this instance the core essence (Sun) is embodying or resonating with Venus/Mars-symbolism. A pretty enthusiastic Sun I´d say. hniizato.com/midpoints-in-astrology/It`s a bit like having Sun conjunct both of these planets (though personally I think we have to take into account what Venus and Mars are doing in the horoscope as well.). The midpointing planets describe how the planet is being expressed. The life energy can be expressed through relating or being actively creative for example. in my case with Sun on Jupiter/Pluto it could be read as, I express myself most authentically (Sun) by always developing and transforming (Pluto) my beliefs (Jupiter). which is of course only ONE way to interprete it. Well my Moon squares Mercury/Pluto, that would be like there is an emotional need (Moon) for digging deep into psychological things (Mercury/Pluto), sometimes the emotional being also is characterized by an inclination towards mental (Mercury( fixations (Pluto). Oh and a love for mystery novels. in my

Mercury/Pluto is made for mystery, psychology and depth. Both planets seem to work well together despite Mercury appearing light and Pluto appearing deep.

It makes much sense for me. and is very fitting. Cafe astrology has this interpreation: "Moon-Mercury-Pluto (43) It is likely that you are involved in psychology, anthropology, history, or genealogy. You like to look beneath the surface of things, and you may also have an interest in mystery novels. You can be very successful in any area that requires curiosity and the desire to uncover secrets." cafeastrology.com/astrologytopics/midpointspictures2.htmland the Sandback interpretation really hits the core, too. "Moon: Insecurities manifesting as mental obsessiveness. Intensity of communication stemming from one's imbuing one's words with tremendous feeling. An emotional need to communicate deeply. I have made a calculator for getting interpretations of planets aspecting midpoints in charts. So we no longer have to scout around for interpretations!

While we're chatting about midpoints in general.... I have Venus square Saturn/Pluto *eye roll* and Saturn on the far midpoint of moon/Neptune, 0.06° orb. "Saturn: Feeling burdened by the feelings of others. To be oppressed by one's own psychic sensitivity. The spiritual need to elevate one's emotions and to transcend negative feelings." Yes. I like this midpoint picture as it seems stabilizing and strengthening to me. However the way it's functioned in my life has been a little tragic or weird at times. For instance, Jupiter transiting conjunct my Saturn opposed moon/Neptune. As I have a Pisces moon square Neptune, Jupiter's influence magnified the weirdness of that, and I have ghost stories from that time which are fun to tell but were most unpleasant to live through. I also have moon = Saturn/Uranus midpoint and a lot lining up on the angles. It's a bit exhausting to consider all of it at once so I'll just leave it at that.

sven555 - Thank you! lucina - Okay, I will thank her on your behalf. Although now I'm wondering whether or not ignorance was bliss. I didn't see all my midpoint pictures when I had to concentrate and focus on astro.com's lists, and now I am a little spooked to find some of these. "Moon/Uranus midpoint activated by Pluto To war with one's own subconscious, in that one tries to control or repress or ignore it's contents, but it retaliates by relentlessly pursuing one." "Sun/True Node midpoint activated by Moon The emotional need to share life's meaning with other people, and to have meaningful relationships. To be vulnerable to others who make you feel important, because this makes you feel secure, with the danger of this retarding your ability to grow and change." ^ Oh that's just great. Everyone please make me feel less important, or downright meaningless, so I can grow and change more. I'm in a grumpy mood, sorry....it's been RAINING for like ten days straight. Just to leave off on a positive note (sort of), I have this: "Venus/Mars midpoint activated by Neptune Subtlety and refinement in the expression of passion. An imaginative, gothic, or romantic love nature. Lack of efficiency due to confusion, or, when one develops one's psychic sense, the ability to enlist one's intuition in the successful accomplishment of tasks." I've thought that before, that I have my own kind of efficiency, that's based on intuition.

I actually have that synastrically with P. His Neptune on my Venus/mars-mp. Figures I supose. lol But natally it sounds just greatly creative and imaginitive and intuitive.
